The sixth eco-tourism zone is Dhela. It was first accessible to tourists in December 2014. There are only two double bedrooms accessible with all the essential amenities, and no non-vegetarian food can be taken inside. There is no canteen inside, so you must bring raw materials and cook there. This Forest Rest House is near a Dhela village and has solar electric fences for protection. This forest lodge has all of the essential amenities (electricity by solar panels, water, etc.), but if you are looking for a luxury break, you will be disappointed, and it is better to plan your stay outside of the National Park in a resort.
Dhela Zone is about 20 kilometres from Ramnagar, directly next to Corbett National Park’s Jhirna Safari Zone. The best time to stay here at night is from November 15th to June 15th, though the park is available all year for Jeep safaris. This area is famous for both flora and fauna.
There are many herbivore animals, such as tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, jackals, wild boars, birds, reptiles, and many others, to be found, but it all depends on your good fortune.
