Dhikala is Corbett National Park’s largest and most beautiful zone, with most safari routes going via the Ramganga River. Dhikala is known for the chaur, or grassland, which is one of Asia’s largest grasslands. The Dhikala zone tourism region contains Sal forests, mixed forests, river bottoms, and grasslands that sustain a variety of wildlife species. The Ramganga River is the main focus of the Dhikala zone. It is also an excellent destination for individuals seeking a rest in nature. Dhikala is also known as the heart of Corbett Tiger Reserve. The Royal Bengal Tiger and Asiatic elephants are the main highlights among the diverse fauna in the Dhikala zone. The safari canter usually stops at a forest rest house where visitors can enjoy the Ramganga River and witness the wildlife.
